The Volume Pants Paper Pattern is a pair of pull-on woven-fabric pants with an elastic waistline and side and back pockets. The fit is comfortable, with a curved side seam that creates a barrel-leg shape.

The pants are unisex, and because men and women typically have different waist-to-hip ratios, the waist is designed with extra ease. It is adjusted with elastic (and optionally a drawstring) for a comfortable fit across all genders.
